
Mussels Marinieres

Ingredients
- 1 kg Iceberg Selectâ„¢ Mussels (cleaned and drained) 2 lb.
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) Butter
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) Dry white wine
- 2 Green Onions
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) Fresh chopped parsley
- 2 Garlic cloves finely chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Chop parsley, green onions and garlic finely.
- In a large pot, melt half the butter and lightly fry the green onions.
- Add wine and bring to a boil, then add parsley and garlic.
- Add mussels and cook on high heat for 7-10 minutes.
- As soon as the meat falls from the shells, remove from heat and add the left over butter and the lemon juice.
- Stir gently and serve.
